Astaxanthin belongs to a group of carotenoids, of which there are over 600 different types, and is responsible, among other things, for the red color of crustaceans. It is a natural antioxidant that protects the body from premature aging. Regular intake of astaxanthin also has a positive effect on vision, immune system function, and increases endurance.
