Two key components are essential for the development of telemedicine: a sound legal framework and technological support. The use of artificial intelligence technologies in telemedicine will solve a number of diagnostic and treatment problems. Examples of doctor-patient interactions include the transfer of test results or reports, as well as consultations with a physician. Telemedicine technologies allow doctors and patients to communicate in real time or asynchronously. Sessions can be held anywhere. Patients and specialists communicate using specialized videoconferencing systems. They can not only see and hear each other but also exchange text and graphic data. For example, patients can view their X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, blood tests, etc. Consultations can be conducted using mobile apps, videoconferencing, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and wearable devices. A telemedicine consultation with a specialist physician is conducted through the transmission of medical information about the patient's health status via electronic communication channels. Based on the results, a decision is made on further treatment.
